Since Julia Child, there have been many others, but none so true as Paula Wolfert and Madhur Jaffery. I start itching as soon as hear that one of them is about to release another book.

This could not end without honoring my family and the huge role they have played. My late mother and grandmothers started me off well- from the basics to picking fiddlehead ferns. Visiting my aunts, uncles and cousins was always a treat because there would always be something new to discover or some old favourite to savour.
