Experiment with this recipe and use your favorite sweet dessert wine. Dessert wines made from muscat grapes are some of my favorites. Serves 4 |

mascarpone cheese |

liquid honey |

whipping cream, softly whipped |

Quickly wash and dry the strawberries by setting them out on paper towels. Hull and cut the strawberries into quarters. Transfer to a bowl and add the port and sugar. Stir gently to combine and let sit at room temperature for half an hour.
Whisk the mascarpone with the honey until smooth and fold in the whipped cream. Spoon the strawberries into four wine glasses and garnish with the mascarpone cream. |
